You Can Thank The Following Pennsylvania Congressional Democrats For Health Care Passage

Various mainstream media outlets are calling last night's Health Care vote by the House Of Representatives an historical victory for President Obama. I characterize the vote as another victory for American Socialism. The health care legislation passed the U.S. House Sunday night by a vote of 219-212 with 178 republicans and 34 Democrats voting against passage. All of the republican Congressman from PA voted against the bill along with two democrats Rep. Jason Altmire (D-Pa. 4) and Rep. Tim Holdent (D-Pa. 17).

As you breakdown the vote it isn't a stretch to conclude that President Obama's victory weighed heavily on the 'yes' votes of the following Pennsylvania Congressional Democrats. Many of whom are now fighting for their political lives considering the latest poll numbers.

According to the latest Rassmussen Poll, opposition to the health care plan is slightly higher in Pennsylvania than it is nationally. 41% percent of voters say they favor the plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats, but 58% oppose it. 44% those polled say they are strongly opposed to the plan.

Rep. Robert Brady (D-Pa. 1), Rep. Chris Carney (D-Pa. 10), Rep Kathy Dahlkemper (D-Pa. 3), Rep. Mike Doyle (D-Pa. 14),

Rep.Chaka Fattah (D-Pa. 2, Rep. Paul Kanjorski (D-Pa. 11), Rep. Patrick Murphy (D-Pa. 8), Rep. Allyson Schwartz (D-Pa. 13)

Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa. 7)

If you are not a big supporter of our new government run health care system please contact those who are responsible for voting for it to voice your distaste or simply vote them out this November. These lawmakers decided to vote for a bill that they freely admit they never totally read or understand. They voted against our country's Constitution and violated our trust by voted for a bill that a majority of Americans were not in favor of. The passage of the bill may be historic but may also be the final blow to the Obama sinking ship.
