Deal With Anti Abortion Democrats Ensures Passage Of Health Care Reform

It's over. Various media are reporting that Rep. Bart Stupak and his pro-life coalition are going to vote for ObamaCare based on a promise from Obama to issue an executive order which will supposedly prevent federal funds from being used for abortion. We now know that the Senate's health care reform bill will be passed by the House. I can't believe that Stupak is going to trust Obama's promise of an executive order to ban federal funding of abortion. Wow!
An aide said leaders reached a deal with antiabortion Democrats that was likely to win votes from at least some of them. Rep. Bart Stupak (D., Mich.), the leader of the antiabortion bloc, said he was "close" to reaching a deal over an executive order that President Barack Obama would issue affirming that federal funds couldn't be used for abortions. Mr. Stupak scheduled a press conference at 4 p.m. to announce his stand. (Wall Street Journal)

So we no that the people's representatives in Washington D.C. are going to vote yes to a bill that they admit they don't fully understand that is also packed full of backroom deals and special pork projects to persuade lawmakers that were on the fence to vote for the monstrosity. Plus they are willing to go against the American public who have not supported the bill in ever poll. Unbelievable!!!! Welcome to Socialism America.
